Week 15 : Classkick
Classkick is completely free and is a great way to be interactive with your students and for students to be interactive with each other. I have outlined how it works with visuals and videos for those that are interested. You make your own assessments, content, upload drawings, fill in the blank, etc. into the program.
How does it work

This is a tool I may look into! I've been a big fan of the free interactive tools introduced this semester and this seems to fit right into that. I like the instant feedback elements and the ability for students to insert drawings and such for this specific tool.

Hi Sylvia,
DeleteI think this blog has given us all a great opportunity to learn about some great free Ed Tech Tools out there. I too, am a big fan of free, however, I am willing to pay if the features are worth it!
This is pretty awesome too! I am always looking into different ways of getting kids to interact!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

Hi Barbara,
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! Glad you have enjoyed so much of my blog!
Hi there,
ReplyDeleteI really like this tool and the fact that you can make your own assessments, upload content, fill in the blank, etc. I also like the idea that you can reward students and give them stickers to boost their confidence.
- Kayla Miller (Week 15)
Hi Kayla,
DeleteThe reward system is a great way to get students motivated! The content choices are a great way to keep teachers motivated. If you have time, definitely check out this tool!
I have never heard of this before! But this is such a great idea! :) I think it's a wonderful way for students to be able to interact with their teachers and their peers on a new level. - Ashley Dockery
ReplyDeleteHi Ashely,
DeleteI am all about interaction in art. SO, when we got hit with the pandemic, I was trying to find ways to get my F2F and Virtual students to be able to interact. This program does the job!
Tara, I have never heard of this before but I am liking what I see! My favorite part has to be the LIVE EDIT. Just today, I was using desmos and I remember thinking "do I fix my mistake and send out a new link and waste more time with them logging on again or do I just keep going with what I've got???" and I do this ALL THE TIME! I will have to try this out soon! -Jackie W15
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie,
DeleteI do not know much about Demos, except it crashing on our state testing day! However, if this will be beneficial, I love to hear that.
This is such a neat tool! I like that it is simple to use and offers real time editing! I am quite far from perfect so that would really come in handy. Thanks for sharing! - Layne Broeker, week 15 response
ReplyDeleteHi Layne,
DeleteThe interactive nature is what drew me into the program. You should definitely check it out. And it is free!
Hey Tara!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a really cool tool. I've heard of it actually used in the elementary and middle school level, but not yet at the high school level. I like how it is so interactive between the teacher and the student. I think this would help to engage each student, especially since the teacher can see the progress that each student is making (or what they are writing). I find that tools like these really help to hold all my students accountable to completing each math problem on their own, and I look forward to trying this in my class. Thank you for sharing!

Hi Alexa,
DeleteIt is is great for all levels. I would definitely give a try !
